Every Story Matters in the Fight Against Prostate Cancer.🥊
Prostate cancer affects millions of men and families every year. This project was created to raise awareness, encourage early detection, and share the real stories behind the statistics. Through education, community engagement, and open conversations, we aim to empower men to take charge of their health and support one another in the journey toward prevention and survivorship.
Emmanual Health Education proudly hosted the Prostate Cancer Health Fair, bringing together community members, healthcare professionals, and organizations committed to improving health outcomes through awareness and education. With the support of partners including Howard University Cancer Center, Men Take 10, Bayer, the Prince George’s County Health Department, Wegmans, and many other community sponsors, the event created an important space for open dialogue, access to resources, and life-saving information.
Attendees had the opportunity to engage with health professionals, participate in on-site blood screenings, and receive vouchers for follow-up prostate cancer screenings at a later date. These services helped ensure that participants not only gained knowledge but also had direct access to preventative care and next steps for protecting their health.
